About Us

Our story began in 2001, when our grandfather, Charalampos, our father, Dionysis, and our aunt, Iro, came together to create the first four guest houses. While Charalampos and Dionysis brought their experience as civil engineers, Iro contributed her background in hospitality and management, helping shape the way we welcome our guests and care for each home to this day.

From the very beginning, this project was born from a desire to share the place we call home and the way we have come to know it through everyday life. A way of welcoming people to Kefalonia and inviting them to experience the island through a genuine connection to its landscape, culture, and people.

The name Kyma & Eros (translated as ‘wave – love’) has accompanied this journey from the very start. It was the name of our great-grandfather’s boat, belonging to a man whose love for the sea, his homeland, and its people left a lasting mark on our family. The values he embodied—generosity, kindness, simplicity, and respect—continue to guide us today.

For us, the name reflects a lasting connection to the island and a deep appreciation for the landscape, memories, and traditions that shape its identity.

Together, these two words represent the spirit behind every home we create, every decision we make, and every guest we welcome.

More than twenty-five years later, we continue to care for each home with the same values that inspired the very first one: to create spaces that honor the character of the place and offer our guests the opportunity to experience it in a way that is meaningful, personal, and true.
